What is dōTERRa?
dōTERRA was founded in 2008 by a group of healthcare and business professionals who recognized the many benefits of incorporating essential oils into their daily lives. dōTERRA, meaning “Gift of the Earth” in Latin, was born out of their collective desire to share these precious resources with the world. Since then, millions of others have adopted this mission as their own by becoming dōTERRA Wellness Advocates.
What are Essential Oils?
Essential oils are highly concentrated versions of the natural oils found in plants. Through a process known as distillation, these fragrant oils can be extracted from plant seeds, bark, flowers, stems and even roots. I am a wife, mother of two and grandmother of 5. I retired from teaching high school Theatre and English in 2008 after over 30 years in the classroom. I developed the Children's Theatre Program at Swift Creek Mill Playhouse. I was introduced to doTERRA Certified Pure Tested Oils in 2012 and have been a Wellness Advocate with doTERRA since June 2013 i am a Certified Oil Specialist and I am also certified in Aroma Touch Therapy. My passion is to share My knowledge of the gifts of the earth.
